ROLES GENDER.
Hi everybody. Today I’m going to talk about gender. It happens that I’m doing a work for university about gender too. It’s about social division of labors by gender. If you are asking yourself what is “social division labors by gender”, I can to answer your question. It means there are jobs considered only for men and there are jobs considered women’s role. For example, work in public transport, mechanical or construction it's inappropriate for a woman because it’s mostly for men. In the same way, they are works inappropriate for men.

In my opinion separation of roles is a gender construction that works like a tool of male domination. For example, when it’s said that societies are more equalitarian it’s a lie for me. Because there is a job market which is disadvantages for women, mostly of they get low salaries and poor works conditions. This is a reality that continues in force.

I think that if I knowing this reality, I couldn’t teach my children to live this way. What I will like to try is to teach them that there aren’t gender categories which must to be classified. They will be free to love and feel as they want.

When I was child my parents gave me all facilities to do what I want with my life. Unfortunately they reproduced traditional roles of what it means to be mom and dad. That is to say that my mom took care of the housework and my dad had a job. I would love see one day to my dad doing houseworks.

Hello!, How are everybody? This semester was full of good and bad things. I hope they were more good things than bad things. We will see it.

This semester was the first time of my life that I learned to live alone in my own flat. I discovered that it’s a lot of sacrifice keeps my home in good conditions. But at the same time I have fun in it. At the beginning I saw myself exceeded me for the housework’s more my college.

After I caught the usual pace of university I could get back my mental health. It was a difficult task. At last I could demonstrates me that I can study and learn things I like.

Sometimes I studied but I didn’t receive good marks on tests. Thus makes me get down. The good thing is I always have my family giving me support so I could continue my college career.

This semester my university was in “paro”, we hadn’t class almost two months. During the “paro” we debate a lot of things about university, as the need of all university faculties’ to have the least money to operate, and democracy to all university community. Even I had lost some classes I can say I learned a lot from this process.

At least I enjoyed some subjects this semester; my favorites were economy and social theory, but in general I like what I learned of sociology.

Well, the life continues and I know I can go straight on. Finally I rememer myself: NEVER SURRENDER!. Bye bye.

Do you are an animal lover? So many people call himself “animal lover” but only a few people get involved with commitment.

 When I lived with my family I had three dogs. Firstly were four but oldest dog died a few years ago. His name was “Lobo” and he looks like a Labrador retriever but it was just a “killtro”.

The true is that all my dogs are “killtros”. Their names are “Kayser”, “Negra” and “Luna”. They get very excited when I get home.

Before Luna came to my house, I had another dog called “Rosty”, he was brother of Kayser. Unfortunately they used to fight a lot.  That didn’t happen when they were small, but when they get old often fight for territory. For that reason, we had to give it to the owner of a plot in Colliguay to take care of him, there he would have more fields to play with others dogs and care for animals. We often receive news of hem.

I remember when I was child my neighbor’s dog bitten my arm. Luckily no dog has gone back to bite me. Anyway I don’t think necessary dogs should be muzzled, tied  or bounded in small spaces.

Finally, I spoke about the commitment to be an “animal lover” and this is so simple like adopt stray dogs, feed stray dogs or contribute money to an animal organization. Any help is required. 

I love art! Because is one of the basics human expressions. Since Stone Age people express which see and feel around it. For the same reason I love art, because I can express myself. When I was a child I like to painting and drawing but I never thought when I grow up still do it.

I still draw and paint because it relaxes me; but I considered I’m not very good to. For the same reason I never participated on art competitions. I remember in school I did some paintings. My favorite was a skull with blue back.

I think modern art is so diverse. There are so many styles and it’s wonderful. My favorite art expressions are paintings. My favorite artist until now is Pawel Kuczynski. He reflects a satirical joke from reality full criticism too. I don’t have any favorite paint.

I learned from my friends that graffiti is a beautiful art expression. Specially cartoons painting on walls. They had funny expressions. They are some Chileans who do it graffiti those are very famous around the world, for example INTI. This guy makes gigantic iconographies to Latino American topics. He is one of my favorite artists.

Today I met about art creations made of human flesh, blood and bones. This kind of art is shocking to me yet but I can’t reject that the creator of this is a genius. You must see it. Bye!

Hi everyone

When I think about future I only see a blurred vision. Today I’m studying to be a Sociologist, but who knows about future?  If I become Sociologist I imagine me working directly to people I would like to be someone who helps people. I think that studying Sociologist I can do it. Since this degree makes you understand the world we live in, it gives you the tools to change it. I consider this degree fluctuate between works inside and outside. Because I have contact with people but I have also to deal with the academic area. I would like to travel around the entire world, especially South America and Asia.

I wouldn't like to work in government offices, maybe some people thinks that it is the only way to change reality but I think we can looking for another ways. I’m considering working in ONG’s or an independent research center. I’m playing whit the idea to study an area of specialty; I’m torn between education and gender. Because this areas replicate the domination.

 I’d love to work away from my natal town. But I wouldn't like to stay in one place.  I’m good at traveling. I hope to get a job that pays all my bills. Finally, I would like to work with a diversity of disciplines, as anthropologists and psychologists. Good Bye.

Do you like drugs? It depends what you consider drugs. I don’t consider marijuana to be a drug. Let’s talk about what’s considered as real drugs. There are so many ways to consume drugs. You can inject yourself, inhale them; you can smoke them, between others, more strangers. Some drugs are very dangerous, because it induce you on mental and physical addiction; this rank is for “harder drugs”. These drugs are Cocaine, Heroin, “Pasta Base” or Crack, Ecstasy and more. After of consume this substances you are expose to change your human behavior.

Previous paragraph I made to mention illegal drugs. But there are some legal drugs that they are damaging your health too. There are cigarette, fast food, caffeine, medications, antidepressant, and alcohol. These drugs are different because it makes you addict in the long run. But I think they have the same side-effects than harder drugs. It kills you slowly.

I think that the society must look at Marijuana without prejudice . I would like Marijuana not to be considered illegal because it not a drug. It doesn't make you an addict. It’s a plant and grows up from Earth. For the same reason be used for medicine. If someone would like to experimenting with harder drugs it depends on owns decisions.

I don't think that if all drugs were legal they would be less crime. Because drugs are suppose that all provoke the same effects on all people. That’s wrong. To Marijuana consumers cultivate own plants helps laws to fight against drug trafficking, because it cheaply, trustworthy and healthy.

Hi everyone! How many times did you go to a concert?  I went only two bigs concerts in my life. Although I’ve seen many times Chileans bands on pubs or free concerts. But the best concert I went was last year. It was a festival called “Legalize Festival”.

This festival brought a lot of good bands as Ska-p, Aguaturbia, The Wailers, between others. But I chess went to the festival because it was Deep Purple. When they appear on the stage it was amazing, all people turned crazies, screaming a lot, pushing everywhere.

 I was really lucky to see Ian Gillian playing with the band. He still has a great voice. They played their most popular songs as “Highway Star”, “Strange Kind of Woman”, “Space Truckin” and “Smoke on the Water”. I know you love this last song too. One thing I remember was the blues piano, very fabulous. But they didn’t play “Child in Time”; I really wanted to hear it.  In spite of that they improvised and proved how great musicians they are.  I wait that my future will be full of concerts. Bye bye.

Hi everyone! Who doesn't love films? Mm I think that the last movie I saw was a few days ago. It’s name is “Chapter 27” and it’s about Mark Chapman and all his physiological progress to kill John Lennon. Jared Leto stars in this movie, who is main singer on a band too. Is an independent movie and his director is Jarret P. Schaeffer. I really like this movie because shows the physiological block and human degeneration.

My all-time favorite movie is “The lord of the rings” because when I was a child I love epic genre but now I like more “La planète sauvage”. This movie is an French animated film about the human plague on a stranger planet, the human race is treated like pets of very smarts aliens from an advanced civilization. This science fiction movie makes me think about littles we are on the universe besides is very advanced for it age. I only seem once but is totally recommended. This movie allows me see two societies opposite to each other through oppression and the uncertain fate they face (You most to see it!). 

Finally I recommend this movie a hundred times because makes you delirious enjoying a intergalactic journey. Bye bye. 

A country I'd like to visit.

I would like to visit India. Why I would like to visit India? Because is a wonderful place to find your spiritual center. It's very far of Chile and they are very differents cultures, but none distance is impossible.  India is one of the countries with more religions around the world and all live together on apparent peace. Although of his deeper religiousness this society looks very racional because reach greats progress for science and mathematics.

Another thing I love of this country is Indian’s music full of mysticism moves you to another aspect of life less superficial.  I have always wanted to live there and grow up my spirit, a radical change in the city life.

If I will have the possibility of travel there I would like to visit Buddhist monasteries and Shiva statues, swim on sacred water of Ganges River. Besides I would like to learn some philosophies practices like meditation.

Well to finish my mental trip with the Indian culture I want take the chance to say that my next
reincarnation will be like an Indian.
